I've not heard of the group or the track before, but Ed Stewart played a fantastic track on his R2 Christmas day show. The group is Blackmore's Night, the track is "Wind In The Willows". Have a listen and see what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC6gqH8Mqz0
I can't stop playing it! _________________

The group is Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple and Rainbow fame and his partner Candice Knight (I think that's her name anyway). Alot of people have commented about the type of music Blackmore is involved in now considering his metal past...but very pleasant if you ask me.
Damn, I missed Stewpot on Christmas day.

Yes, it surprised me to find this out when I was looking for a download (without success). Then again, it's often the case that successful musicians of all sorts of genre draw on many other genres for their influences, and often experiment with totally different types of music to the ones they're known for. (My brain's still too numb from all of the festivities to think of any examples right now).
Stewpot's available on the BBC iplayer to listen again (for three more days). Well worth a listen. It seemed to be presented live too, with many emails etc. Ah, such memories _________________
