You obviously know nothing about ironing David, you don't press the buttons, you press the material.
Seriously though, it's much less hassle if whoever introduces the song looks after the controls too. I suppose we could get Chris to be 'Programme Controller' but he just sits there reading his newspaper. We can't even get a cup of tea out of him. (No jokes about turning him upside down please. )
Oh and "Thank you" for your comments Alec, looks aren't important on the radio.
BTW. I'm uploading Roger's show now for those who would like to listen. It'll be available here in about 10 minutes. |
Thanks for uploading the Roger show, Chirpy! _________________ Also young people like the music from the 60's & 70's! |

Tonight's and tomorrow's KBC shows can both be heard on Big L this afternoon from 4pm till 6pm via www.bigl.co.uk and on KBC Short-wave from 10:30pm UK time.
There a few differences between the Big L and KBC versions going out on-air. On Big L it features as a two-hour show interspersed with the news at 5pm so there is no need for the KBC end theme at the conclusion of part 1 or the show opener at the beginning of part 2. There are also a few more Radio London jingles and classic adverts in the Big L version. All four shows will be made available at the beginning of this thread to 'Listen again' or download. |

Great show all, I believe you'd be an excellent breakfast show presenter Chirps. I hope someone with the foresight uses your enthusiasm and talent.

What you mean you've been taken off??? Wonder who that was that I was listening to then
Yep, excellent show, so many wonderful memories, even if I wasn't old enough to listen or remember them the first time around. That Johnnie Walker thing gets me every time. Loved the bit with Brucie
PS: Thanks for having me on, hope I didn't make that tea wasn't too strong _________________

The tea was fine Cookie, first cuppa I've had in eleven shows! Thanks for contributing all your time too Cookie, I'm looking forward to your next 'Special'.
I shall now sit and enjoy a plate of Spaghetti Bolognese before getting started on next week's KBC show. |

Today's shows have been added:
- The 2 hour afternoon show on Big L
- Tonight's Chloe & Chirps Show on KBC
Excuse Chirps.....just adding the internet radio podcast info.....thanks Gary
The latest KBC Chirpy/Chloe show is now also available via podcast on your internet radio
If you have previously setup the MRN podcasts on your radio simply go back to KBC in the podcast menu and you will find last weeks prog has been replaced with today's show - simple.
If you haven't yet setup the MRN podcasts see here for how to do it

Saturday's two-hour show (from Big L) has now been added. If the second half of the show sounds distorted, please let me know.
Cheers |
